Love is watching someone die.

A wake up call to a rented room
Sounded like an alarm of impending doom.
To warn us it's only a matter of time.
Before we all burn

We bought some wine and some papercups
Near your daughter's school when we picked her up
And drove to the cemetery on the hill
On the hill. Death Cab for Cutie.

(All summer we just hurried
so come over, just be patient, and don't worry.
So come over, just be patient, and don't worry.

So come over, just be patient, and don't worry.

And don't worry.

No I don't wanna battle from beginning to end;
I don't wanna cycle of recycle revenge;
I don't wanna follow death and all his friends.

When you lose someone important to you it feels  like everything is spinning faster and faster and  your one comfort becomes the stranger of a hotel room you run away to. People say everything slows down, but really nothing ever stops spinning. Like a merry-go-round you are forever bound to and even the horses have crooked smiles.  It's like taking drugs and being high for weeks. Your eyes are bloodshot, the room is cloudy, and the dead dances with you. The darkness is more apparent and clear than anything else worth thinking about. I've never lost someone close to me, this is just a guess and I feel as if we need to be taught how to let someone go. What to say to to someone dying. How to tell your only 10 year old daughter that her only 40 year old dad is gone. R.I.P Mr. Coger

never take anything for granted. ever.
